Island Work

Very beautiful day to get out on the isalnd about 12 miles away and do some work of the weather station.
The moss is loving the sun as much as I am!

Gerlache island hiding behind Anvers.
Station is that way, where the glacier meets the sea.
The LMG was in the area doing some other science.
Looking really tiny in the deep.
Carrying the old broken parts down from the top of the island.
Old penguin bones.

Spot the Skua chick!
