An Afternoon at Work

The rainbow in the picture above is not from the camera, that is real. This picture was taken at 1 pm, the sun stays at this height and circles the sky. The sun is still rising, it won't make it to over head, and will start to circle its way back down at the end of December and set on March 23rd.

 I took some pictures of a few of the cool snow drifts around the buildings I walk to everyday.

 Great day for sitting on a couch shaped snow drift out of the wind and enjoying the view.

 This is one of the experiments that I help run. SuperDARN, (Super Dual Auroral Radar Network), investigates iononsphereic dynamics and magnetosphere/ionosphere coupling.
