We had enough snow blown in in some places that it was soft enough to make snow angels on my way to SuperDARN.
This is Cosray, it detects cosmic radiation and neutrons. I had to replace one of the chips on the board in the picture below and check the heaters. It is basically a metal tube with a lot of voltage running through it and a lot of layers of insulation and science to get a nice data out put. There is a live graph of the data this is capturing somewhere on the internet.
